Silver

The decipal claimed money meant nothing. The Guru smiled.
"Go, give this pouch of silver coins to that man: he lost it yesterday."
The decipal returned with questions.
"The man wasn't happy!"
"And he won't survive it..." The Guru replied grimly.

After three days, the man died: the loss had been too much for him.
