Here is the idea: write a story on a topic assigned daily (well, almost) but there is a catch: the number of words should not exceed 55. Did we choose this number arbitrarily? I don't know. I found myself looking at the #55wordstory hashtag on Twitter one day and the next thing I knew, I was writing stories and mailing it to Vivek Tejuja, the founder of the concept.
Some turned out to be stories I like, others were more of failed attempts while trying to achieve better. While I am not currently writing 55wordstories regularly, others are and you can read our cherished project by clicking the 55wordstory tab.
